i really wished there were more places like this in Singapore.

I've always envied teenagers from other parts of the world where flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores, etc. etc. etc. seemed to be everywhere. And they'd share all the pretty things they bought at a bargain, on their webbies. :) I guess Singapore has some, maybe i just haven't discovered all of them? But still, i believe there's room for more.

Despite the many megamalls that have sprung (and are still springing) up in Singapore, the retail stores that are in each are very much the same. I mean, just take a look at the directories, they're really almost exact copies of one another. Of course i do realize that some of the malls have brought in a handful of new brands, but the items are still pretty similar to existing brands, and they are still pricey all the same! :/

What i love about these often-messed-up corners, is that you never know what you'll find. Well yeah, you might end up not finding anything for yourself, but even so, just looking at all the other knick-knacks is intriguing. And for that matter, if you do find something, it's usually unique. :) You'd find all sorts of stuff; new, old, smelly, worn-out, pretty, old-fashioned or pure vintage accessories, and most importantly, at a very worthwhile rate. It always amazes me, whenever the cashier

But sometimes, i think to myself if the people who decided to give away their stuffs knew how much they were worth. I'd find clothes with their exorbitant price tags on, new and not worn at all. ?! One man's junk may be another man's treasure. So true.

Ugh, i just wished sg had more of these bargains. This way, i won't always return empty-handed from my shopping trips. :/But yeah, i'm just saying. And yes, i'm still at work. But it's kind of bored. :/ It's like, you don't have anything to do, and you want to do your own things. But then again, you'd feel bad if your colleague walks past and catch all that tumblr pictures on your desktop. So i figured maybe something wordy might fool them. LOL :)
