work

Friends I made at the 2-day event I worked for on Fri and Sat. Tourism peeps (at TP) too! :) They really make up for the bored hours and pathetic pay. I believe most would agree with me - where one work, the people really makes a helluva difference - cannot. emphasize. enough. And every time I'm at this topic, I feel the need to bring up my 6-mth working experience with some of the nation's most extreme fucktards. (those who know me you know what/who I'm getting at) Colleagues, sigh. They really do make a big difference.

I love how they give out free polaroids during the event. Would've been better if we needn't self-hold the frame. Or, we could really do without the frame. -.-

With cab! Look how wide her smile is. She couldn't stop telling me how good it is to get free polaroids after working (despite the low pay), easily bought over! 没有骨气 LOL!

On a side note, the job also showed fugly side of our fellow citizens. :/ Was assigned to distribute goody bags and we kinda had to take on crowd control as well. Everyone was just rushing and vying for the bags, and when it all ran out, the crowd actually pushed us all the way to the back of our booth. Gaaawd, all I wanna do at that moment is to slap all the outstretched palms, really! And, who says beggars can't be choosers? I have people coming to ask for specific colored bags/more bags for their husbands, children, sisters (you wanna take for your ex-husband and great-grandmother also?)/specific items in the bag, etc. Big turn-off. We seriously need a 'Just Take One' campaign. :/
