lately i've been...
Pretty sick and forgetful. :( Been having the ultimate combo of cough-sore throat-fever since the weekend as if my aching shoulders weren't enough. With cny just around the corner, what a time to fall ill really. To add on, it also seems that i'm getting locked out of the house more often than ever. Just yesterday, we had to call the locksmith cos my mom brought the wrong set of keys (her office keys -.-) out after locking everything up. And today, i reached my doorstep only to realize i did not have any keys with me and there was no one home.
But it was quite an interesting wait, for I was surprisingly entertained by the family drama taking place across the next block. A man, who sounded like a lunatic, was moaning and swearing over something he lost. And I lost count of the times I heard him yell knnbccb. (Like wtf is wrong with him?!) Then there was this aunty and uncle, probably his family, trying to pacify him but seemingly in vain. So the cursing and swearing continues, and subsequently I see neighbors kaypohs coming out from their houses (it was quite a sight really, because everybody was coming out from all different directions haha), probably hoping to catch a show or sth. And probably aware of all the unwanted attention her household is getting, the aunty went into her unit to confront the lunatic (who was still swearing btw), this time in a fiercer tone than before. I guess what she didn't saw coming was that she would be the one rushing out of the house and screaming in hysteria, barely 5 min into the confrontation. God knows what the lunatic did to her; apparently she wasn't injured or in pain, so it seemed like something inside her head just snapped and she lost it. Her poor husband (the uncle) ended up having to pacify her as well, as he ordered his son to calm the lunatic down. At the same time, a pretty good-looking kiddo was delivering a box of goods to a unit at the lower floor. Three levels up and diagonally across, another lunatic, probably agitated by all the noise, came out of his flat and started swapping flies (if there were any). Oh, as for the kaypohs? They remained vigilant in their respective lookouts right till the end. Then 2 policemen came. But the duo really puzzled me; I don't get why, considering the urgency of the situation at hand, they had to waste time patrolling the top 2 storeys and take the stairs (when there are lifts) before visiting the problematic household. But anyhow, I guessed they deserved some credit for putting everything under control cos the lunatic finally decided to shut up.
It's like watching 特写 live, so I must say, I live in an interesting neighborhood. LOL.
